Take a moment… just a moment. Remember how it was when we were growing up. Back in the day when we did not know or did not care about each other’s tribe, when we dreamed about changing the world, when we sang about Jesus even though we never knew how much we needed him, when you liked her for who she is and she liked you just for who you are. In those past days when our parents took care of everything, bought us anything we wanted and kept us safe from this terrible world. How wonderful those days were.
Remember those wonderful days and hold on to them for in today’s life you live as a hypocrite who speaks about change and love for humanity but cares little about change and cares even less about humanity.
Take a moment… just a moment. Reflect on past days when our friends would tear our hearts apart by calling us ugly. When our teachers/parents killed our very ambition by telling us that we would never amount to anything, when our hearts were not big enough to accommodate our sorrows, when we struggled to put food on the table, when our father/mother/sister/brother was still alive and when God allowed Satan free reign over our lives. How terrible those days were.
Remember those terrible days and hold on to them for in today’s life you live as a hypocrite who ignores the cause for which you God prepared you. Today, you betray your past by dining with thieves and arguing on behalf of those who brought poverty and devastation into your household.
